The Great Brews Beer Festival Returns to Split Rock

The popularity of craft beer has exploded in recent years. Just in the past 5 years, the number of craft breweries operating in the United States has more than doubled, from 2,420 in 2012 to 5,234 in 2016. Come see what all the fuss is about at the 27th Annual Great Brews Beer Festival, taking place November 18-19, 2017 at Split Rock Resort.

This two-day festival is the best beer event of the season, with beer samplings, giant games, giveaways, and more. You will be able to sample over 100 craft beers, including stouts, IPAs, ales, and hard ciders. In between drinks, you can browse over a dozen craft vendors.

If you’re interested in learning more about the brewing process, you will enjoy hearing our speakers from two local breweries, Pocono Brewery Company & Shawnee Brewing Company.

Providing a soundtrack to the event, there will be two stages of live musical entertainment. Stage 1 will feature Pennsylvania rock band Kartune. Formed in 1990, these guys are a staple in the local Pennsylvania music scene.

On Stage 2, we have A Pair of Nuts from Northeastern Pennsylvania. These fantastic acoustic musicians have been rocking shows, parties, and weddings since 1995. You will enjoy their covers of a wide variety of popular artists, including Elvis, The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Paul Simon, Sublime, The Grateful Dead, Tom Petty, and more.

If you’ve worked up an appetite after all the rocking out and playing the giant games, visit any of the dozen food vendors, offering everything from pizza, barbecue, sandwiches, desserts, and everything in between.
